Call for Expression of Interest
for a
Project Manager position in the “Skills for Jobs” Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Project and Mandate
“Skills for Jobs / PrilikaPlus” (www.prilikaplus.ba) is a project financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). Its overall goal is i) to support the non-formal adult education system and ii) to improve practical training for VET school students. This is done by introducing elements of the dual education system, where planning and delivery of education and training are driven by employers’ needs. The project is implemented by the Agency for development of small and medium enterprises of Republic Srpska (RARS).
We are looking for an experienced, communicative and motivated Project Manager to complement the existing project team and to bring in international experience and expertise. The main tasks will be to i) facilitate, steer and monitor the planning, organization and management of the project team; and ii) to assure communication between the project team and senior RARS management.
The mandate for the required position shall be awarded to a third party through an open bidding process. Contracting authority is SDC.
- Requested Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of project management experience
- Work experience in the field of adult education and VET
- Proven experience and technical ability to manage a large project
- Demonstrated ability in team management and collaboration
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Mandate duration
The mandate shall last 12 months. Beginning of the assignment: as soon as possible.
