The Embassy of Switzerland in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) announces vacancy for following position:

Finance-Administration Officer (70%-Position)

Scope of Functions

  • Accounting – monthly bookings, VAT refund, budget monitoring
  • Establishment of contracts in the particular system and managing project data in SAP system
  • Assistance in financial supervision and monitoring of projects financed by the Swiss Government
  • Support and replacement tasks, managing cash-box, evidence of health insurance
  • Archiving and office procurement
  • Other financial and administrative tasks, writing procedures, small translation…..

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in economics or business administration or equivalent education
  • Practical work experience related to finances and administration
  • Good working knowledge of English and German language (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and team work skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP software’s is considered an advantage

Start and Duration of the Engagement

The engagement shall start on 1st September 2016. The selected candidate will be awarded a one year contract with possible extension.
