Call for Local Short-term Experts
for
Assessment of current situation in formal vocation education and training
focusing on practical training practices and apprenticeship possibilities
Swiss Embassy in BiH is looking for qualified local experts to conduct the above mentioned Assessment as a part of the planning of the second phase of the Skills for Jobs project.
Specific objectives of the mission
The assessment should provide answers to the following questions:
- Qualitative analysis of current situation in formal VET with emphasis on competences and practical training.
- Stocktaking and assessment of existing experience of work-based learning.
- Constraints and opportunities related to local strategic partnerships (alliances) between local authorities, VET schools and private sector related to formal VET reform and adult education.
Eligibility criteria
Proven experience in the field of youth employment, vocational education or related fields. Excellent English language skills are required.
Duration of the engagement
Two local experts will be entrusted with the mandate, each with 12 days engagement, in the period from 1st February to 15 March 2014.
All proposals shall contain the following:
Letter of interest (please do not exceed 10.000 characters including spaces), Financial proposal, CV, Secondary data sources and reference list to be consulted; Proposal of institutions, projects and people to be interviewed.
The proposal is to be written in English language, and it can be made by individual experts or organizations/companies.
