The second day of entrepreneurial training in YEP incubator of business ideas Kalinovnik is held in Agricultural cooperative Gvozno supported through Impakt Investment Foundation.
Trainer Grujica Vico and Miljan Veletić welcomed participants and focused on a production process, commercialization of a product and development of a market in agriculture. Cooperative Gvozno manages 254 hectares of agricultural land (plough – fields, meadows, pastures) and it currently has over Aberdina angusa beef cattle. Cooperative struggled with commercialization for a long time, but after the development of a business plan and mentor support of “Menprom” from Tuzla, for this cooperative many markets are being opened, like exclusive restaurants in Bosnia and Turkey.
Bearing in mind specificity of the most underdeveloped municipality in Republic of Srpska, IIF entrepreneurship program is being adapted to circumstances. Training is focused on the development of business plans. In spite the fact that even though farmers work in agriculture production for a long time, still there is a lot of space for improvement of quality of a product, spreading of a service, placement on a market. For this, a lot of support is needed from different sources.
Participants of Incubator are expecting three more modules before they present their ideas and plans to commission for validation of business ideas. In the end, seven highly ranged ideas will get professional and financial non – refundable support of 5.000 KM.
