This year, from October 8 to III International Festival of Modern Women will be held in Tuzla. Nearly 80 speakers, moderators and moderators, artists from all over the world will make this festival a memorable event. The III Festival will have a partly different form, but it will take place in Tuzla with epidemiological protection measures and recommendations. According to the director of the Festival, Edina Selesković, Festival intention has not changed, because our mission is to be guide to everything women do, especially in the days of the festival.
“We did not want to miss the Festival this year because we think we all need the Festival. We need to hear positive stories, see positive examples, and we need to prove that despite the pandemic, life goes on. During the Festival, we will respect all the recommendations related to COVID pandemia. We have decided that the online version simply does not fulfil our needs and goal of the Festival, but it is necessary for our speakers to feel in some way the positive energy for which the Festival is known. ” stated Edina.
Regarding the peculiarities of the Festival, the director of the Festival emphasizes: “We have decided to try something different, to make something that, despite all the measures and all the restrictions. It is a hybrid form of the Festival. We did not ask any speaker to travel and join us physically. Speakers outside Bosnia and Herzegovina join us online while those from Bosnia and Herzegovina will come to Tuzla. However, we will combine the online and offline presentations so that our speakers that are presenting online will be seen by the audience in the hall.. We have also reduced the number of events outside the conference part of the Festival, but we will still be able to present artists and cultural events that we imagined only in a customized form. “
Impakt Investment Foundation with the support of the Government of Switzerland were partners of last year Festival and as part of three-day event held a series of activities with entrepreneurs. It also included networking with successful entrepreneurs, potential and future business partners and mentors.
