Impakt Investment Foundation and the Municipality of Banovići organized the final presentation of the IMPAKT Business Ideas Incubator, in which participants presented their ideas and business plans to an expert committee consisting of: Senajid Đozo, executive director of the Impakt Investment Foundation, Lejla Elezović, Assistant Minister of Culture, sport and youth of the Tuzla Canton, Selmet Husanović, head of the Department of Economy of Banović Municipality and Halil Mujić, head of the Banovići Employment Bureau.
Seven ideas competed for support, the commission chose the 5 highest ranked for non-refundable financial and additional professional mentoring support, and the remaining two have a chance to also receive funds if they meet certain conditions. Supported business ventures in Banovići are:

“We at the Impakt Investment Foundation are happy because we see that the young and the elderly are thinking in the direction of self-employment and entrepreneurship because we know that it is these small businesses that drive the economy in local communities. Today we supported 5 business ideas in Banovići, and in the last 10 days we supported another 11 in other local communities, and by the end of the year we will support at least 45 more ideas”, said Senajid Đozo, executive director of the Impakt Investment Foundation.
As part of the joint cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of the Tuzla Canton, the IMPAKT Investment Foundation, the Employment Service of the Tuzla Canton, the program IMPAKT, the incubator of business ideas of the Tuzla Canton, is implemented, which, among other things, includes an entrepreneurial training program and financial, professional and mentoring support. for new business ventures of young people aged 18 to 35. The program is one of the planned projects within the Youth Strategy of Tuzla Canton and a continuation of a very successful project that was started in 2021. The municipality of Banovići is one of the 10 local communities in which the project is being implemented this year and which participates in the co-financing of the project, for two additional participants from the Banovići area who are outside the youth age limit.
